Track & Field |

For each event, the top two rankings in the open and junior will be invited to join the Team. |

Only two junior athletes will be selected in each event, even though they are already ranked in the open category.

If athletes have same performaces, the younger one is preference. |
|
Reply Training Squad will be formated whenever is necessary. |

The time frame for selection is from 1st January 2008 to 15 June 2008

Road Running |
|
For Marathon event, the top two rankings in the open category will be invited to join the Team. |

For Half-Marathon event, the top two rankings in the open and junior category will be invited to join the Team. Only two junior athletes will be selected, even though they are already ranked in the open category. |

|
For Road Race 20KM Walking event, the top two rankings in the open category will be invited to join the Team. |

For Road Race 10KM Walking event, the top two rankings in the junior category will be invited to join the Team. |

For 5000m Walking(Track), the top two rankings in the open category will be invited to join the Team. |

For 3000m Walking(Track), the top two rankings in the junior category will be invited to join the Team. |

The time frame for selection is from 1st Sept 2007 to 15 June 2008. |

All selected members must have been residing in Hong Kong for not less than 1 year and should be registered as a member of the Hong Kong Amateur Athletic Association. (For those who have not registered, please do so immediately.) |
